Renal Dialysis Nurse Position

About the Role
A leading healthcare provider, Appoint Healthcare, is seeking an experienced Senior Dialysis Nurse to join their team at a modern dialysis clinic in Ipswich. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working closely with the clinic manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Nurse in Charge: Undertake the role of nurse in charge and occasionally deputise for the clinic manager.
- Mentorship: Provide mentorship to the team and take ownership of the care programs for renal patients.
- Patient Assessments: Perform patient assessments throughout treatment, prepare and monitor dialysis machines and systems, and review pre and post-haemodialysis care with patients.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality service improvement programs.
Requirements:
- NMC Registration: Be NMC registered with no restrictions or conditions.
- Eligibility: Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
- Experience: At least 2 years' experience as a Renal Dialysis Nurse in the UK.
- Clinical Course: Post-registration clinical course in Renal Nursing (ENB 136 or equivalent) or working towards.
- Qualifications: Mentorship/Teaching Qualification highly desirable.
- Skills: Compassionate and able to showcase excellent patient care, excellent communication skills.
Benefits:
- Competitive Salary: £34,500 - £41,700 per annum.
- Annual Leave: 35 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays, increasing with length of service.
- No Night Shifts: Full-time position with no night shifts or Sundays.
- Overtime Pay: Overtime paid at time and a half after completing full-time hours.
- Enhancements: Enhancements for evenings and Saturday working.
- Holidays on Christmas and New Year's Day.
