About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Fire and Security Service Engineer to join our team at Marlowe Fire and Security. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing fire and security systems in line with current standards and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain fire and security systems in your assigned area, ensuring they are functioning correctly and efficiently.
  • Respond to service calls on all types of fire and security systems, providing prompt and effective solutions to customers.
  • Plan and respond to routine and reactive call visits in your area, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
  • Maintain effective communication with customers when planning site visits, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Maintain your stock levels with support from the Stores team, ensuring you have the necessary materials and equipment to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Attend training sessions as and when required, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in the industry.
  • Attend engineering team meetings as and when required, contributing to the development of our engineering team and the growth of our business.
  • Identify any personal training and development needs to help you provide the best possible customer service, ensuring you are equipped to meet the evolving needs of our customers.
About Our Systems

We work with a range of fire and security systems, including:

  • Fire systems: Gent, Notifier, Kentec, Ziton, Advanced, Morley, C-Tec, Protec
  • Intruder systems: Galaxy, Texecom, Scantronic, Menvier, Risco
  • CCTV systems: Hikvision, Dahua, Bosch, Generic Analogue Systems
  • Access control systems: Paxton, PAC, Salto
Requirements

We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • A technical background in the electrical/electronic industry
  • Good all-round knowledge of fire and security systems
  • Experience of front-line customer contact, preferably in a technical or engineering role
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively
  • A professional and presentable demeanor, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to deliver exceptional customer service, with a focus on meeting and exceeding customer expectations
