Senior Research Associate in Digital Twins

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Research Associate to join our team in the Department of Engineering at the University of Cambridge. The successful candidate will play a key role in the Digital Roads of the Future (DRF) initiative, working on research advancement in Digital Twins within existing grants, authoring new grant proposals, and disseminating the initiative's outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide technical leadership and coordination to the DRF initiative
- Author new grant proposals and publications
- Disseminate the initiative's outcomes through teaching, learning support, and administration
- Manage staff, training, and supervising
- Network internally and externally, upholding the university's values
- PhD degree in a relevant engineering or science discipline
- Significant previous academic experience related to Digital Twins for infrastructure or the built environment
- Strong academic track record with peer-reviewed journal publications or patents
- Previous project and financial management experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Senior Research Associate level dependent on significant experience as a postdoctoral research associate or equivalent
- Proven impact from authored publications
- Salary range: £45,585 - £57,696
- Fixed-term: 18 months
