Role Overview
We are seeking a Youth Programme Development Lead to join our team. This role will be responsible for overseeing our targeted work with girls and young women aged 9-19 years old across the Youth Programme. The successful candidate will also contribute towards the expansion and development of our existing program of work to meet the evolving needs of girls and young women in the local community.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  1. To develop and deliver a targeted program for girls and young women that includes single-gender sessions and one-to-one casework.
  2. To work closely with the Youth Programme Manager and Senior youth worker to deliver our open-access Youth Programme, with an emphasis on making those sessions more accessible to girls and young women.
  3. To collaborate with services across the organization to promote the inclusion of girls and young women, identify individuals who would benefit from targeted support, and develop cross-service projects that support the needs of girls and young women.
  4. To promote the program to referral partners and reach out to marginalized groups of girls and young women.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • A strong understanding of the needs and challenges faced by girls and young women in the local community.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop and deliver targeted programs that meet the evolving needs of girls and young women.
  • Experience working with young people and a good understanding of child safeguarding principles.

What We Offer
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £27,000 per annum, plus 26 days' annual leave. Additionally, they will have access to ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
