**The Role**
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager - Sales & Events to join our team at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Swindon. This is a unique opportunity for a sales-driven individual with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
As Business Development Manager - Sales & Events, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and expanding our presence in the market. You will work closely with our Senior Events Manager to develop and implement sales strategies, build relationships with key clients, and deliver exceptional events experiences.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and increase market share
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional events experiences
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies
- Achieve or exceed monthly/quarterly revenue targets
**Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in sales and events management
- Proven track record of success in sales and revenue growth
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
