Job Title: Personalised Learning Assistant

We require an experienced Personalised Learning Assistant to support a Year 1 pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a 1:1 capacity.

About the Job

In this rewarding role, you will work closely with the pupil to provide individualised support, enabling them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential. Your key responsibilities will include providing individual support in line with the pupil's needs, collaborating with the class teacher and SENCO to implement learning strategies, and assisting with developing the pupil's communication, independence, and engagement skills.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualised support to the pupil, focusing on their specific needs.
  • Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to develop and adapt learning strategies.
  • Foster a positive and supportive learning environment.
