Empowering Learning is committed to empowering individuals to reach their full potential. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of young people with Behavioural Needs.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with young people, be highly organised, and possess excellent communication skills. You will work closely with the class teacher and other teaching assistants to create a supportive learning environment that promotes the growth and development of children.
Responsibilities:- Assist with lesson planning and delivery to ensure a high-quality education is provided
- Provide physical management and care of pupils, ensuring their safety and well-being
- Deliver 1:1 or small group activities tailored to each child's needs, promoting their educational progress
- Collect and record evidence of children's work to inform their assessment and support their educational journey
- Previous experience working with young people, particularly those with Behavioural Needs, is essential
- Excellent organisational and communication skills are required
- A genuine passion for supporting children and their families is crucial
- Interest in SEND and its application in educational settings is highly valued
- Dedicated consultant support is available to address any queries or concerns
- Access to training and CPD opportunities will enable you to develop professionally and enhance your skills
Salary: £18,562 - £22,100 per annum (dependent on experience)
