This is an exciting opportunity to join the Eurofins UK Food Testing team as a Cross Selling Manager. The purpose of this role is to coordinate subcontract testing samples to suitable in-group partner or 3rd party providers.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong attention to detail. They will be responsible for fostering good relationships with customers and other testing laboratories, providing updates on overdue tests, and proactively communicating late test completion dates.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for liaising with cross-selling laboratories within Eurofins or externally to provide the customer with the most suitable testing for their request. They will provide quotations to customers for subcontracted analysis, report laboratory results, and ensure outstanding subcontracted analysis is followed up on with the performing laboratory.
The role will also involve conducting regular review meetings with Lab Managers and Customers, ensuring customer enquiries are responded to at the first point of contact, and providing accurate, valid, and complete information using the right methods and tools.
The successful candidate will be a key member of the Eurofins UK Food Testing team, working closely with colleagues to drive the laboratory forward through continuous improvement.
Responsibilities- Foster good relationships with customers and other testing laboratories.
- Provide updates on overdue tests directly to customers.
- Proactively communicate late test completion dates.
- Liaise with cross-selling laboratories within Eurofins or externally to provide customers with the most suitable testing for their request.
- Provide quotations to customers for subcontracted analysis.
- Report laboratory results.
- Ensure outstanding subcontracted analysis is followed up on with the performing laboratory.
- Conduct regular review meetings with Lab Managers and Customers.
- Ensure customer enquiries are responded to at the first point of contact.
- Provide accurate, valid, and complete information using the right methods and tools.
- GCSE Maths & English, or equivalent.
- Experience managing and resolving customer concerns and complaints.
- Experience providing status reporting to customers.
- Experience dealing with multiple internal service providers.
- Experience in direct dealings with customers.
- Verbal and written English fluency.
- Proficient in MS Office suite.
- Attention to detail.
- Experience identifying and meeting customer needs.
- Able to work as part of a team.
