Arena Racing Company is seeking a skilled Bar Supervisor to lead our hospitality and restaurant teams on race days and special events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and lead by example in all aspects of the business.
  • Assist the team in running the restaurant and/or hospitality and bar areas, ensuring seamless operations and high standards.
  • Develop strong working relationships with guests and staff, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Drive sales opportunities and recommend improvements to enhance the customer experience.
  • Ensure all orders are rung through the tills and payment obtained in line with prescribed procedures.
  • Adhere to and follow all licensing policies and procedures, handling cash, stock, and equipment securely.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a high-end food and drinks business or restaurant sector is essential.
  • A high standard of written and spoken English is required, as you will converse with a wide variety of customers and colleagues.
  • Knowledge of licensing, food hygiene, and health & safety theory and implementation is necessary.
  • Cash handling and billing procedures experience is required.
  • A Personal Licence Holder is preferred but not essential.
