Job Title: Restaurant Bar Supervisor
About the Role:
The Arena Racing Company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Bar Supervisor to join their team at the prestigious 1866 restaurant. As a key member of the hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service and leading the team to deliver outstanding results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive experience for all guests.
- Lead the team to deliver high-quality service and maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Supervise staff and assist with training and development to ensure high standards are met.
- Manage cash handling and billing procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Adhere to licensing policies and procedures, maintaining a high level of knowledge and expertise.
- Record and manage waste, ensuring compliance with venue procedures and recycling initiatives.
Requirements:
- Experience in a high-end food and drinks business or restaurant sector is essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a high standard of written and spoken English.
- Knowledge of licensing, food hygiene, and health and safety theory and implementation.
- Personal Licence Holder (preferred but not essential).
- Ability to work with honesty and integrity, maintaining a high level of professionalism.
