Restaurant Bar Supervisor
The Arena Racing Company is seeking a skilled and motivated Restaurant Bar Supervisor to join their team at the prestigious 1866 restaurant. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service and a seamless dining experience for all guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service and ensure all guests receive a warm and welcoming experience.
- Supervise and train staff to maintain high standards of service and quality.
- Assist with the management of restaurant operations, including inventory management and cash handling.
- Develop strong relationships with guests and colleagues to ensure a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
- Stay up-to-date with licensing, food hygiene, and health & safety procedures to ensure compliance.
- Work collaboratively with the catering and retail manager to achieve business objectives.
Requirements:
- Experience in a high-end food and drinks business or restaurant sector is essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and guests.
- Knowledge of licensing, food hygiene, and health & safety procedures.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm and professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in IT and able to use technology to enhance the customer experience.
