About the Role

Perenco is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our QSSHE team as an HSE Advisor. This role plays a key role in ensuring the business remains compliant with all relevant statutory provisions, codes, and standards and good practice. The HSE Advisor will translate the requirements of the law/good practice into everyday working policies, procedures, and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Actively support the Assurance Manager in the development and delivery of the PUK-SNS Assurance Programme.
  • Coordinate risk-based assurance (internal and external), including compliance with legal and other requirements.
  • Support the maintenance of relevant auditing tools to collect, analyze, and review performance.
  • Engage with site management to provide the status/outputs of audits and self-verification findings.
  • Review available leading and lagging metrics and insights from internal sources and external data to ensure the assurance programme is relevant and fit for purpose.
  • Support improvements in the implementation of the Safety and Environmental Management System (SEMS).

Requirements

  • NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (either NEBOSH or NVQ) is essential.
  • 5+ years experience within a high hazard industry, ideally with some onshore or offshore Oil & Gas industry experience.
  • Understanding (or relevant qualification/training course) in offshore legislation is desirable.
  • QMS ISO 9001 Internal Auditor qualification (or equivalent) is desirable.
