Compliance and Safety Specialist

We are seeking a Compliance and Safety Specialist to oversee the compliance of our fleet of vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes. This role is crucial in maintaining our high operational standards, ensuring adherence to regulations, vehicle maintenance, and driver safety standards.
About the Role:
As a Compliance and Safety Specialist, you will be responsible for auditing fleet records, driver hours, and vehicle maintenance logs. You will also ensure compliance with transport laws and regulations for vehicles up to 3.5t, conduct safety inspections, and recommend corrective actions.

- Conduct safety inspections and recommend corrective actions
- Review driver licensing, training, and vehicle inspections
- Maintain detailed records and prepare reports for internal and external audits
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in transport compliance, fleet management, or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of regulations related to vehicles up to 3.5t (e.g., driver hours, maintenance)
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
- Full, clean driving license required
Salary: Estimated £30,000 - £40,000 per annum
