Regional Health and Safety Specialist - Norfolk | £55,000 + car allowance + package

Thorn Baker Group, a leading construction company, is seeking a Regional Health and Safety Specialist for the Norfolk region. This role offers a great opportunity for the right candidate to join a dynamic company with a strong safety culture and opportunities for career progression.

As the Regional Health and Safety Specialist, you will report directly to the Health and Safety Lead and provide on-site support and monitoring of health and safety standards. You will be a strong communicator with excellent planning skills and the ability to stay one step ahead.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with clients and the internal Health and Safety team
  • Attend client Health and Safety meetings
  • Provide on-site support to the site team
  • Review safe systems of work
  • Attend and advise during safe start meetings
  • Manage day-to-day Health and Safety activities on site
  • Conduct workplace inspections and report findings
  • Coordinate training for project staff

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills with experience in a client-facing role
  • NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification
  • Proficient in IT with strong report-writing skills
