Job Title: Specialist Team Leader

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a Specialist Team Leader. This is a unique opportunity to work with two young adults with autism, providing a bespoke package of care, support, and education in a family home setting.

The successful candidate will lead the care and educational support, working closely with a small team of support assistants to develop and implement personalized plans for the twins. This role requires a high level of expertise, empathy, and understanding of autism, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the care and educational support for the twins, developing and implementing personalized plans to meet their needs.
  • Work closely with the support assistants to ensure seamless delivery of care and support.
  • Collaborate with the family to ensure that the twins' needs are met and their goals are achieved.
  • Contribute to the development of the team's skills and knowledge in autism support and education.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with individuals with autism, preferably in a family home setting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a small team.
  • Excellent understanding of autism, including its causes, symptoms, and effects.
  • Ability to develop and implement personalized plans to meet the needs of the twins.
