Key Responsibilities

  • Develop pharmacy services to optimise patient care, ensuring compliance with national guidance and safe prescribing practices.
  • Implement cost-saving strategies, such as biosimilar switches, to ensure medicines optimisation opportunities are realised.
  • Act as a specialist role model, providing expert clinical advice and guidance to nursing and medical staff.

Requirements

  • A Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or Pharmacy Practice is essential.
  • Demonstrable leadership skills, with experience in supervising others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to provide complex information to various stakeholders.
  • Ability to identify and manage risks, understanding national and local priorities.

Salary: £70,000 per annum.
