Job Overview
Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Public Health Nursing Specialist to join their team. This exciting opportunity will see the successful candidate working in the North team, focusing on the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme for children aged 9 months to 11 years.

This role offers a unique chance to provide specialist advice and leadership within an integrated public health nursing team. The ideal candidate will have experience of case load management within Children's Services and hold a recognised non-medical prescribing qualification.

About the Role
This Integrated Specialist Public Health Nurse (ISPHN) - Health Visitor will be responsible for the management of a caseload or client group, including the compilation of reports and participation in multi-agency safeguarding children procedures. They will also provide leadership and day-to-day supervision of team members, ensuring the effective delivery of care packages to children, young people, and their families.

The successful candidate will have a full understanding of relevant policy, legislation, and guidance relevant to the clinical area, as well as immunisation skills. A teaching qualification or equivalent presentation skills/training experience would be desirable, but not essential.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage a caseload or client group, including compilation of reports and participation in multi-agency safeguarding children procedures
* Provide leadership and day-to-day supervision of team members
* Ensure the effective delivery of care packages to children, young people, and their families
* Offer specialist advice in line with identified specialist areas (e.g. peri-natal Mental Health, Infant Mental Health)

Person Specification
* Current registration on the NMC register
* Professional qualification in Specialist Community Public Health Nursing
* Teaching qualification or equivalent presentation skills/training experience
* Recognised non-medical prescribing qualification
