Role Overview

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Clinical Assessor to work within a high-profile scheme related to historical events in Northern Ireland. This role offers the chance to make a tangible difference by assessing applicants for a scheme providing support to individuals impacted by past events.

Estimated Salary: £45,650 (OTE)

About You
You will have at least 2 years post-registration experience as a Doctor, Nurse, or Allied Healthcare Professional. You must be fully registered with the GMC, NMC, or HCPC, with a valid PIN and no restrictions. Experience in Mental Health or Psychiatric practice is essential.

Your Responsibilities
Independently manage your workload and assess individuals who may have been affected by historical events in Northern Ireland. Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments (in person and remotely), reviewing medical evidence and documenting detailed reports for decision-making. Engage with other healthcare professionals to gather supporting medical evidence when necessary. Compile structured, evidence-based assessment reports for the Victims Payment Board. Ensure the quality and productivity targets are met as per contractual service level agreements.
