Donard Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Assessment Specialist to join our team. As a Clinical Assessment Specialist, you will play a critical role in delivering unbiased, comprehensive assessments for the Government's disability allowance (PIP).
About the Role:
In this challenging and rewarding position, you will be responsible for managing caseloads from end to end, including delivering face-to-face and virtual assessments, telephone assessments, initial review calls, and paper-based reports. You will assess a wide range of health conditions and disabilities affecting claimants, including physical, sensory, mental, intellectual, and cognitive impairments.
What We Offer:
A competitive salary of £38,500 - £41,500* per annum, with an opportunity to earn up to £45,650* through a 5% retention bonus and rising to 10% quality and retention bonus*. Our benefits package includes a company laptop and mobile phone, access to a Health & Wellbeing programme, and 25 days' holiday per annum, rising to 27 days with service.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must be a qualified Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, or Paramedic with at least 1 year's post-qualification experience and valid registration on the NMC or HCPC without restrictions. Excellent communication skills and strong IT literacy are essential.
