Job Summary:
The Academic Support Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the administration of our MA Fashion Business programmes, working closely with the Programme Leader to ensure smooth operations and high student satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- To assist with the organisation of academic activities, including the coordination of timetables and teaching space;
- To provide administrative support to the Programme Leader, including data management and reporting;
- To liaise with staff and tutors to maintain programme quality and standards;
- To coordinate examination processes and support students' career development;
- To maintain accurate records and contribute to pedagogic activity;
- To attend meetings, orientations, and open days as required;
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master's Degree;
- Previous experience in a similar or administrative support role;
- Knowledge of the UK Higher Education system and Fashion Business as a discipline;
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills;
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with MAC systems.
Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum
