About the Role

The Centre Manager for the Centre for Doctoral Training will be responsible for administering the postgraduate research and training aspects of the programme. This includes developing and delivering an exciting and diverse doctoral training offer in antimicrobial resistance, co-designed with project partners, as well as ensuring effective procedures are developed, adopted and documented for dealing with enquiries, applications, admissions and progression.

About You

The ideal candidate will be efficient, organised and have a keen eye for detail. They will also be able to interact with many people within and external to UCL, thus a professional attitude, willingness to help and a positive outlook are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer the postgraduate research and training aspects of the programme
  • Develop and deliver the doctoral training offer
  • Ensure effective procedures are developed and documented
  • Manage two further posts, a Centre Administrator and a Centre Partnerships Manager
  • Represent the Centre at national meetings and networks
