Job Title: Ultimate Activity Instructor

Job Description:

At Ultimate Activity, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced instructor to join our team of outdoor enthusiasts. As an Ultimate Activity Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, structured outdoor activities and workshops to groups of children aged 7 to 14.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver activities that promote participation, development, and enjoyment for children.
  • Encourage children to participate in activities, using enthusiasm, passion, and energy.
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to, including health and safety and safeguarding procedures.
  • Take a pastoral role as a group leader, supporting and caring for children throughout the week.
  • Supervise children outside of activity times, including sign-in/sing-out times and lunch/snack breaks.
  • Live up to the company's promise of 'Inspiring Children Every Day' and behave in a manner that reflects the expectations of the company.
  • Other ad-hoc duties, such as cleaning and equipment maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Enthusiastic and energetic individual with a passion for working with children.
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
  • Experience within outdoor education and experience working with children.
  • Excellent communication skills and verbal reasoning.
  • Flexible and able to adapt to dynamic situations.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience.
  • Ideally qualified or studying towards NGB qualification in adventurous activities.
  • Ideally experienced in working in a similar camp setting, working with children aged 7-14.
