**School Adventures Sales Consultant **Responsibilities**

This position will involve, but not be limited to:

- Generating new sales and securing new business with UK-wide schools.
- Working closely with the delivery team you will support with customer retention and create new business opportunities.
- Building relationships with schools, parents and students, local authorities, and governing bodies, you will provide a high standard of service and customer experience from the first conversation and all the way through their journey.
- You will arrange and coordinate all meetings, calls, presentations, and networking events to promote the products and services available.
- You will work towards sales targets to meet company goals.
- You will assist with the ongoing support and crisis management system during and on the way home from adventures.

**School Adventures Sales Consultant** Experience**

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have a good understanding of how schools work and of outdoor education, however you could also be an experienced sales manager with a proven passion for the outdoors and the ability to get kids, parents and schools onboard This role involves wearing multiple hats and so you must be proactive, innovative, organised, and hands-on, and willing to roll your sleeves up and get involved in generating new business and working towards sales targets.

You must be confident, tenacious, resilient and comfortable speaking with schools, finding the decision maker and striking up conversations to get new schools and students to sign up to the activities and overseas adventures. You must be credible, professional and able to act as a brand ambassador. The role can be done mostly online however you may need to jump in your car and go to a school if that is what it takes to get their buy-in. You will have exceptional communication, people, and sales skills in order to find the schools, sell the service, and launch the adventure.

Your CV and covering statement must demonstrate clear signs of an interest, understanding and passion for travel, yourth development and outdoor education as these are key qualities for this role.

**Location**

This role is office-based 1-2 days a week in Abingdon. Parking is available on-site.

This role is full-time, permanent.

Standard hours are 8:30am - 5:30pm with some flexibility including occasional evening and weekend work.
