Job Title: Business Development Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Morgan Jones. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with existing customers, and providing technical and commercial support to ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Seek opportunities to provide technical and commercial support to new and existing customers
  • Identify, monitor and liaise with new and existing customers to build and maintain effective relationships
  • Help customers maintain the company products to maximise the total cost of ownership and minimise production downtime
  • Research and develop opportunities to grow new business
  • Prepare sales forecasts and monthly reports to monitor sales performance
  • Provide customer, competitor, and marketing data to grow turnover, volume, and profitability
  • Assist in developing and executing the company's sales & marketing strategy and group accounts
  • Identify and manage threats and opportunities to the company's business

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Very good organisational, presentation and problem-solving skills
  • Results-driven with a hunger to succeed
  • IT literate (Microsoft Office) and comfortable with reporting tasks
  • Extensive travel and overnight stays required, with a full UK drivers licence
