About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our team at BAYMAN ATKINSON SMYTHE LIMITED as a Project Accountant in North Manchester.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the review of current policies and procedures to identify areas for improvement.
  • Recommend and implement changes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our financial systems.
  • Document processes and procedures, and provide training and support as required.
  • Contribute to the development of solutions to improve our current offering.
  • Review and design Finance workflows to ensure systems remain efficient and meet operational needs while maintaining robust internal controls.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure project planning, timelines, and deadlines are communicated effectively and adhered to.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Management Accountant or Finance Business Partner in social housing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong track record of continuous improvement.
  • Flexibility and a willingness to be hands-on when required.
  • Part-qualified with experience (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is highly desirable.
