Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our team at Bayman Atkinson Smythe Limited as a Project Accountant in a 12-month fixed term contract. The successful candidate will support the Assistant Finance Director with a key project from research to implementation.

The Role

  • Lead the review of current financial policies and procedures to identify areas for improvement.
  • Recommend and implement changes to enhance financial processes and procedures.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of financial processes and procedures.
  • Deliver training and support to colleagues as required.
  • Contribute to the development of solutions to improve financial operations.
  • Review and design financial workflows to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective project planning, communication, and deadline management.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Must have a strong track record as a Management Accountant or Finance Business Partner with experience in social housing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to foster collaboration and build strong relationships.
  • Flexible and adaptable with a hands-on approach when required.
  • Part-qualified with experience (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is highly desirable.
  • Attention to detail and effective communication skills are essential.

The Package

We offer a competitive salary of up to £44,000 and hybrid working options, with a balance of remote and office work.
