Mitchell Maguire is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor / Estimator – Fit Out to join our team in the North West Office.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a range of fit out and refurbishment projects for various industries, including leisure, retail, healthcare, hotels, offices, pubs & restaurants. This will involve working closely with Project Managers to monitor and control costs throughout projects, identifying and tracking changes, and compiling and submitting monthly Applications/Valuations to clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and control costs throughout projects
  • Identify, track, report and price change as required
  • Compile and submit monthly Applications/Valuations to clients
  • Set-up and manage subcontractor accounts, making payments when due
  • Produce monthly financial reports for active projects
  • Establish and maintain relationships with sub-contractors and suppliers
Requirements:
  • Must have Quantity Surveying/Estimator experience within the construction industry, ideally fit out market sector
  • Good technical knowledge and good understanding of industry processes
  • Highly organised with good attention to detail
  • Excellent communicator both written and verbally across all levels
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
  • Full UK driving license
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Good team player, with excellent people skills
