About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Project Accountant to join our finance team at New Charter Homes. As a key member of our management accounts team, you will play a crucial role in producing monthly management accounts, year-end financial statements, and driving the annual budget setting process.

The successful candidate will have excellent project management skills, with the ability to scope out projects and recommend structured plans to manage them on an ongoing basis. You will also have strong accountancy knowledge, with the ability to understand and appraise existing processes, and recommend changes where necessary.

As a Financial Project Accountant, you will work closely with members of the finance team, and will have good communication skills to ensure that all stakeholders are kept up to date on progress.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead on the review of the Group recharge policy, with a view to proposing and implementing change in this area.
  • Use project management skills to scope out projects and recommend structured plans to manage them on an ongoing basis.
  • Use accountancy knowledge to understand and appraise existing processes, and recommend changes where necessary.
  • Work with members of the finance team to ensure that all stakeholders are kept up to date on progress.
