Digital Strategist Role Summary

We seek a dynamic and experienced Senior Client Strategist to lead our team in developing and executing high-performing digital strategies for diverse clients.

This pivotal role involves coordinating efforts across specialist teams to exceed client expectations by managing workflows, monitoring success metrics, and providing strategic advice on key accounts.

Job Description

  • Lead Performance Marketing Strategies: Develop and implement comprehensive digital strategies that align with client business goals, focusing on ROI and performance improvement.
  • Drive Client Growth: Proactively identify new opportunities for client growth, including upselling services and exploring new marketing channels.
  • Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with performance marketing, creative, development, and wider teams to ensure client strategies are well-integrated across all disciplines and deliver measurable results.
  • Manage Expectations and Relationships: Outline clear expectation levels across client performance. Understand client business goals and translate them into effective digital strategies.
  • Stay Ahead of Industry Trends: Stay ahead of industry trends, constantly refining strategies to maintain the agency's competitive edge in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

Requirements

  • A proven track record in leading digital marketing strategies for high-profile clients within an agency or relevant in-house setting.
  • A strong understanding of acquisition marketing, data analytics, website performance, and campaign optimisation.
  • An ability to translate complex marketing data into actionable insights for clients.
  • Reviewing CPT results and arranging meetings or holding conversations with account teams to identify challenges and blockers for performance.
  • Highlighting client risks to the senior leadership team and working on an action plan to resolve.
  • Developing a strong working relationship with the CS/Client Experience Director to ensure high-quality delivery and alignment between client performance and relationships.
  • Working closely with the BD/Growth team to support key opportunities and to help win pitches.
  • Collaborating with the ops team to ensure accuracy of reporting and a knowledge of the forecast.

Competitive Salary Package

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, 25 days holiday, a tailored commission scheme, and a range of additional benefits. The flexibility to work from home and the office with core days at Manchester/Chester HQ.
