Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Strategic HR Business Advisor to join our United Kingdom & Ireland (UKI) Business Advisory Centre in Birmingham. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert HR advice and support to clients across various stakeholders.

You will work collaboratively with key HR functions to deliver exceptional service to clients, contribute to performance improvement projects, and implement best practices across the team. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving business growth and excellence through effective people management strategies.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with the business and Business Partners to implement the HR People agenda initiatives; provide advice to employees and managers on people topics and execute lifecycle process tasks both effectively and efficiently
  • Execute change initiatives in new organisational models, restructuring, near shoring and deliverables; coordinate key projects including diversity and retention initiatives
  • Support performance management activity, for example, annual performance reviews, feedback activity and management of underperformance
  • Employee relations cases; manage investigations, facilitate conversations with respect to conflict/dispute resolution and consequence management
  • Heavily involved in the year-end compensation process, including reviews of fixed and variable pay audit checks, providing advice to the business and running spend analysis

Requirements
  • A depth of experience within HR, proven ability to partner with and provide solutions to challenging client groups as they experience significant change
  • Experience of working within a complex and matrix organisation and experience of developing talent within HR
  • Ability to develop effective relationships with the business and across the HR team to leverage results
  • Experience in managing employee relations cases; as well as complex restructuring initiatives and redundancy cases
  • Proven process mind-set and ability to prioritise and manage high volumes within a high-pressure environment
