Project Director

Tait is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of individual projects from start to finish, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and budget-friendly delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement project plans, working closely with the Director of Projects and Senior Project Managers to assign project teams and resources.
- Lead project teams to agree on solutions, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
- Manage client relationships to agree on clear scope, schedule, and contract, and manage the project to that contract, negotiating changes and variations as needed.
- Verify project budgets and ensure accurate costing, revising costs as necessary to reflect client requests for changes.
- Regularly visit project sites to ensure work is progressing safely and according to plan, addressing any issues or concerns that arise.
- Manage project cash flow, ensuring purchasing is managed to minimize cash outlay and income is realized as quickly as possible.
- Contribute to refining existing business processes and procedures.
- A degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Strong understanding of the stage and/or spectaculars industry.
- Experience in budget control and staff management.
- Proven track record in project management and staff leadership.
- Excellent IT skills and working knowledge of MS Office.
- High-level verbal and written communication skills, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels of management.
