The Role:
We require a meticulous Senior Technical Project Manager with a passion for precision and excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and coordinating engineering support to Production, covering supply chain/production issues (mainly Mech/Elec), leading on production acceptance activities through range testing, and engineering lead on product design maintenance for in-service Sonobuoys.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate engineering support to Production
- Covering supply chain/production issues (mainly Mech/Elec)
- Leading on production acceptance activities through range testing
- Engineering Lead on product design maintenance for in-service Sonobuoys (e.g. resolution of obsolescence, maintenance of drawings/documentation)
What We Are Looking For:
- A foundation in Support Engineering with an understanding of Software Engineering and ideally, a background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Experience of producing engineering schedules with dependencies
- Experience of engineering estimation, with an ability to review, challenge and justify estimates
- Experience of management of risks, assumptions, issues, decisions, and opportunities
Salary: £60,000 - 80,000 per annum based on experience and expertise. Attractive compensation package offered.
