Development Project Manager

Bellway Homes, a leading UK house builder, is seeking an experienced Development Manager to join their North London Division. This exciting opportunity will allow the successful candidate to lead development projects from planning to delivery.
The role offers a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a car allowance and contributory pension scheme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage development programmes to achieve targets.
- Act as primary point of contact for projects, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.
- Prepare reports and risk registers to gain internal approvals and ensure audit compliance.
- Mange disposal of affordable units within projects.
- Negotiate and agree land contracts and building contracts with clients and their agents.
- Appoint and manage consultant teams to produce scheme-specific information.
- Procure and check surveys, reports, and assessments required for planning processes.
- Maintain good communication with project teams and internal stakeholders.
- Organise and lead client meetings to represent the company positively.
Requirements:
- Experience working with high-volume residential house builders.
- Effective team management skills.
- Up-to-date knowledge of health and safety and building legislation.
