Our client is a leading Civil Engineering main contractor with expertise in Rail, Civils, and Groundworks projects across London.

We are committed to delivering high-quality infrastructure projects that enhance the urban landscape and improve transportation networks.

  1. Cost Control: Develop and implement cost-effective project budgets, ensuring optimal value for money.
  2. Contract Administration: Manage contracts, including preparation, negotiation, and administration of subcontractor agreements.
  3. Measurement and Valuation: Conduct accurate measurements and valuations of work done, preparing interim and final accounts.
  4. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with contractual and legal requirements.
  5. Reporting: Provide regular financial reports and updates to project stakeholders, highlighting any variances and proposing corrective actions.
  6. Procurement: Oversee the procurement process, including sourcing and negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors.
  7. Site Monitoring: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, assess work quality, and ensure adherence to project specifications.
  8. Team Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure seamless project delivery.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in quantity surveying within the civil engineering sector, particularly in Rail, Civils, and Groundworks projects.
  3. Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost control, and financial management.
  4. Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., MS Office, cost management software).
