We are a dedicated team at the National Theatre of Scotland, committed to creating innovative and engaging productions that inspire and educate audiences. Our current project, Caring Scotland, aims to document the stories of care experienced individuals and raise awareness about their experiences.

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Scotland Oral History Project Coordinator. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with care experienced individuals, artists, and other teams to create a unique and impactful production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the collection and recording of stories from care experienced individuals
  • Work closely with artists to ensure high-quality recordings
  • Manage the preservation and storage of all recorded stories
  • Collaborate with other teams to promote the project and engage with the public

Requirements

  • Proven experience in oral history or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Estimated salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum
