Oral Health Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Oral Health Coordinator to join our team at Commonwealth Dentistry.

Job Summary:

This role involves coordinating oral health services, ensuring seamless communication between patients, dentists, and staff. As an Oral Health Coordinator, you will be responsible for scheduling appointments, preparing patients for procedures, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:
  1. Coordinate oral health services, including scheduling appointments and preparing patients for procedures.
  2. Maintain accurate and detailed records, including patient health histories and treatment plans.
  3. Communicate effectively with patients, dentists, and staff, fostering a positive and supportive environment.
  4. Assist with patient education, helping them understand their oral health needs and treatment options.
  5. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control protocols.
  7. Participate in ongoing training and professional development, staying up-to-date on best practices and industry advancements.
  8. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing changes.
  9. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Requirements:
  1. High school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on healthcare or a related field.
  2. CPR certification, demonstrating your commitment to patient safety and well-being.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration and patient engagement.
  4. Strong organizational and time management skills, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  5. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information, upholding patient trust and dignity.
  6. Flexibility and adaptability, responding to changing circumstances and priorities.
  7. Basic computer skills, including proficiency in electronic medical records and software applications.
