About the Role
GSL SEN Education is seeking a passionate SEN Learning Support Assistant to work with a child with ADHD in a mainstream primary school. This role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm.
The successful candidate will work 1:1 with this student in year 4, supporting them in and outside the classroom. A sports background will be beneficial for this role too.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build trusting relationships with students using a restorative approach.
  • Support students with complex mental health and emotional needs.
  • Help demonstrate the value of education to students.
  • Assist in creating a safe and nurturing learning environment.
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure each student receives the necessary care and guidance.

Salary: £85-£95 per day

This is a temporary to permanent contract opportunity. All training and support are provided by the school with their excellent training system. The ideal candidate will have a Clear Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce/ Child and Adult Workforce) registered to the Update Service. If you don't already have a DBS, we can help you apply for one.
