Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Student Support Professional to provide tailored support to a student with specific needs in Harrow.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the student to address their unique learning, emotional, and social needs.
  • Assist with academic tasks, adapting materials as needed to support progress.
  • Foster a positive relationship, promoting confidence, independence, and inclusion.
  • Collaborate with the class teacher and other professionals for consistent support.
  • Monitor and document progress, providing feedback to relevant staff.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar support role or working with children with special educational needs (SEND) is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient approach.
  • Ability to adapt to the student's evolving needs.
  • A genuine commitment to supporting students with additional needs.
