Special Education Needs Teaching Support Professional

GSL Education - Watford is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to support our client schools in Harrow. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about making a positive impact on children's lives.
About the Role:
We are looking for a talented educator with at least one year of SEN support experience in a school, childcare or care setting. The successful candidate will possess strong classroom management skills, be patient and energetic, and have a genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support children with emotional and behavioural difficulties to enable them to access the curriculum effectively
- Demonstrate high levels of care, concern, and ambition for our children
- Deliver activities on a 1:1 and small group basis to support SEN students
- Assess, evaluate, and report on pupil progress
Requirements:
- At least one year of SEN support experience in a school, childcare or care setting
- Strong classroom management skills and patience
- The Right to Work in the UK
- An enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or willingness to process a new application through GSL Education
- Two professional school-based references
