Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and patient Teaching Assistant to work with a child with Autism in a mainstream school in Northwest London. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with special needs, a relevant degree, or personal experience.
Responsibilities:
- Support the student with Autism in a mainstream school setting
- Work collaboratively with the SENCO and psychologists to develop and implement individualized education plans
- Assist with lesson planning and implementation
- Provide emotional support and guidance to the student
- Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other staff members
