Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Sales and Events Assistant at St David's Cardiff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers.
  • Develop and implement strategies to elevate the customer experience and drive sales growth.
  • Respond promptly to customer queries and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Communicate effectively with management, brands, and clients to ensure seamless collaboration and coordination.
  • Collate commercial information to generate accurate sales reports and provide insights to inform business decisions.
  • Support the brand community during store changes and events, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
  • Confidently execute small-scale store events and activations, showcasing our brand's products and services.
  • Oversee the efficient functioning of pop-up activations and ensure a commercial yet creative visual proposition.
  • Monitor and manage the sales floor to maximize profitability and drive sales growth.
  • Visual merchandising the space to ensure a commercial yet creative visual proposition.

Requirements

  • A strong sales background and knowledge of best practice in retail standards and customer service.
  • Ability to work under own initiative as well as in a team, with strong problem-solving skills and effective communication skills.
  • Fluency in English and ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Experience in clienteling, community-building activities, and events, as well as visual merchandising and display.
