Safeguarding Children's Nurse

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly motivated designated safeguarding children's nurse to join our team at NHS South East London Integrated Care Board.
About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled and experienced nurse to take a leading role in the continuing development and integration of evidence-based child protection practice in Lambeth health services. The successful candidate will provide specialist advice, guidance, support, and training to all disciplines of healthcare staff and other agencies on all matters related to child protection.
Main Responsibilities- Provide expert child protection practice and advice to clinicians and service managers
- Develop and implement child protection policies and procedures
- Lead on the development and integration of evidence-based child protection practice in Lambeth health services
- Collaborate with local partners to inform strategic thinking and direction
- Registered Health Visitor
- First Degree or equivalent
- Master's Level accreditation in Safeguarding Children/Child Protection
- Evidence of education and training initiatives surrounding Safeguarding Child Protection
- Teaching Qualification
- Management Training
We offer a competitive salary of £82,462 to £93,773 per annum, inclusive of Inner HCAS, and a range of benefits, including a pension scheme and opportunities for professional development.
