Job Description

As the Sales Director at Citygate Automotive Limited, you will be responsible for managing the sales environment, people, and process to achieve maximum profit opportunity and customer satisfaction. Your primary objective is to drive revenue growth while ensuring excellent customer service.

About the Role

This leadership position requires a strategic and hands-on approach to manage the sales team, oversee the sales process, and ensure compliance with company standards. You will be expected to:
  1. Develop and implement sales strategies to maximise gross profit earning potential.
  2. Maintain a high-performing sales environment that meets customer needs and expectations.
  3. Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets, focusing on F&I and insurance-related products.
  4. Conduct daily sales meetings to review progress and set goals.
  5. Ensure Mystery Shop Standards are met, as set by Volkswagen.
  6. Manage vehicle ordering and stock control processes, conducting regular reviews with Sales Executives.
  7. Foster a positive customer experience, resolving complaints professionally and promptly.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. To manage the sales process in order to maximise gross profit earning potential.
  2. To maintain a clean, well-organised and safe working environment that adheres to Company standards.
  3. To provide coaching and training to the sales team to help them improve their performance.
  4. To build strong relationships with colleagues across all departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  5. To lead by example and demonstrate a positive attitude towards work, customers and colleagues.
