Alexander Steele is working exclusively with a renowned food business that supplies a diverse range of premium products to UK and European retailers. Due to business growth and product demand, the company is seeking an Italian-speaking Quality Assurance Manager to join their technical team.

The role requires regular travel (50% time spent travelling) to Europe and an individual who can speak fluent Italian.

The role of Quality Assurance Manager involves driving the quality of products to ensure the best experience for customers. Key responsibilities include:

* Building and maintaining positive relationships with suppliers

* Collaborating with suppliers to agree detailed standards that preserve the authenticity of products

* Ensuring all products meet agreed standards and specifications

* Resolving quality issues arising from customer complaints and sampling

* Addressing urgent quality issues that require immediate attention, including supplier visits at short notice

* Working collaboratively with NPD and Technical teams on new product launches to ensure product quality

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience working in a technical or quality environment in a food manufacturing setting. They should also have working experience and knowledge of BRC standards and a degree in Food Science or equivalent.
