Restaurant General Manager
At Applebee's Group, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant General Manager to lead our La Gamba restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional quality, and fostering a positive team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily operations, ensuring the highest levels of quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency across all areas of the restaurant.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, promoting a culture of pride, honesty, and continuous improvement. Foster an environment where team members feel valued, respected, and motivated to deliver their best work.
- Customer Experience: Ensure a welcoming and unpretentious atmosphere, where every customer feels valued and appreciated. Address customer feedback promptly and effectively, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Quality Assurance: Uphold the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation. Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure consistency and excellence in every dish served.
- Financial Management: Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. Analyze financial reports to identify opportunities for growth and increased profitability.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the ownership team to set long-term goals and strategic initiatives. Stay informed of industry trends and innovations, incorporating best practices into the restaurant's operations.
- Proven experience as a General Manager or similar leadership role in the restaurant industry.
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage and inspire a diverse team with a commitment to quality and excellence.
- Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and upholding the restaurant's core values.
