GBS Global Applied Knowledge is a leading provider of higher education programmes, and we are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Associate Dean.

Role Overview

As Associate Dean, you will provide leadership and management for our higher education programmes validated by a university partnership offered at GBS campuses in London, Birmingham, Leeds, and Manchester. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the partnership thrives and furthers the objectives and aims of the GBS Strategic Plan and learning and Teaching Strategy.

The successful candidate will be based at any GBS UK campus and will work closely with Programme Leaders, Programme Managers, Module Leaders, teaching staff, and professional services staff to deliver high-quality educational experiences for our students.

Key responsibilities include promoting academic excellence, managing on-campus operations, ensuring quality assurance, and collaborating with key stakeholders to achieve strategic objectives.

Salary and Benefits

This rewarding opportunity comes with a highly competitive salary of approximately £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to this, you can expect a range of excellent benefits, including:

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A good honours degree and master's degree
  • A professional approach with integrity at all times
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an enthusiastic approach
  • Experience of programme management
  • Experience of upholding academic standards and enhancing the student learning experience
  • Experience of working in partnership with universities and other higher education-related organisations
  • Knowledge and understanding of implementing internal quality assurance systems and external quality assurance, including the QAA and Office for Students
