Job Summary

We are seeking experienced actuaries to work with a range of UK-based clients to offer bespoke end-to-end advice about the retirement programs on offer to employees, specialising in clients' actuarial needs. As a Consulting Actuary, you will be helping clients define strategy, design retirement plans, manage plan finances, meet regulatory requirements, manage risk, and will have a direct impact on your teams' performance and client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help clients define strategy and design retirement plans
  • Manage plan finances and meet regulatory requirements
  • Manage risk and have a direct impact on your teams' performance and client outcomes
  • Lead client relationships as a seasoned, professional individual contributor
  • Manage projects working independently, while helping teammates thrive and collaborating with stakeholders across the company

Requirements

  • Significant experience working with Trustees and/or Corporates on DB pensions
  • Well-rounded knowledge of the broader UK pensions landscape
  • Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and oversee multiple projects simultaneously
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work within a team, support other business functions, and act as a mentor to junior colleagues
  • Strong technical actuarial fundamentals coupled with demonstrable business acumen
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Nearly/newly qualified actuary or fully qualified actuary with post-qualification experience
