We are in search of a skilled and knowledgeable Senior Actuarial Consultant to become a vital part of our team at Legal & General Retirement Institutional (LGRI). Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the actuarial evaluation and validation of a novel tool designed for calculating member options.
- Establish an independent actuarial testing and controls framework for the system currently under development.
- Offer actuarial expertise to the broader Pension Risk Transfer division.
- Guarantee the precision and cost neutrality of all options provided.
- Supervise team members involved in testing activities under your direction.
- Assess the fair value of member options and necessary pricing modifications.
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Life/Pensions Actuary.
- In-depth understanding of Defined Benefit pension schemes.
- Experience in technical actuarial positions and system development.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication abilities.
- Familiarity with coding, particularly in C#, is advantageous.
