Job Opportunity: Actuarial Consultant

KPMG UK is seeking a highly skilled Actuarial Consultant to join our team in Edinburgh, London, or Bristol. As an Actuarial Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering client engagements and providing technical input to various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage concurrent engagements and shape KPMG's tailored solutions
  • Provide actuarial expertise on finance transformation projects, IFRS 17 impact assessments, and implementations
  • Assist companies with mergers and acquisitions, capital models, and audit support
  • Develop and implement actuarial solutions to drive business growth and improve client outcomes

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified actuary with experience in a life actuarial function or life consultancy
  • Strong technical and communication skills, with the ability to deal with clients and senior personnel
  • Project and people management skills, with the ability to structure task allocations around critical goals
  • Coaching skills to develop the capabilities of junior team members
