Position Overview

Role Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled professional to take on the role of Senior Actuarial Consultant. This position involves critical contributions to the development and evaluation of actuarial frameworks within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering actuarial insights to shape the testing architecture for a new system designed to assess member options.
  • Utilizing actuarial methodologies to guarantee the financial neutrality of all available options, including considerations for GMP equalization.
  • Collaborating with team members across the organization to establish timelines for reviewing system enhancements, such as valuing new benefit structures or adapting to regulatory changes.
  • Upholding the highest standards of precision and reliability to ensure the accuracy of automated systems under various scenarios.
  • Conducting an annual assessment of the actuarial techniques used in the calculation of actuarial factors.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a qualified Life/Pensions Actuary.

Experience:

  • In-depth understanding of Defined Benefit pension schemes and related valuation methodologies.
  • Proven experience in technical actuarial positions and/or system development.
